act-COR is a chemical product designed to activate and accelerate the rusting process in record time (2-3 hours). This high-quality, innovative solution ensures a professional and consistent result on Corten metal surfaces.

The act-COR patina release activator should only be applied to a properly prepared and cleaned surface:

• If Corten steel is cold-rolled (Corten A) – it is sufficient to thoroughly degrease and remove all dirt.
• If Corten steel is hot-rolled (Corten B) – it is necessary to degrease the surface and remove the layer of hard slag (mill scale).

For optimal results, we recommend using this product with a sprayer. If different rust tones are desired, multiple applications may be necessary. Before reapplying, wait until the first layer has dried completely (2-3 hours). Drying time may vary depending on environmental and climatic conditions.
