Metal rolling (also known as the deformation process) involves shaping metal sheets into the desired diameter or form.
During the rolling process, a sheet of metal is passed between shafts rotating in opposite directions. By applying high pressure, the sheet’s original dimensions, mechanical properties, and physical characteristics are altered, resulting in a new shape, such as a cylinder or an ellipse.
