act-COR patina release activator is used only on prepared and cleaned surfaces:
- If the Corten steel is cold-rolled (Corten A) – it is enough to thoroughly degrease it and clean off all dirt.
- If the Corten steel is hot-rolled (Corten B) – it is necessary to degrease it and remove the layer of hard slag (mill scale).
We recommend using this product with a sprayer for maximum effect. If you want to achieve different rust tones, the surface will need to be coated more than once. Before reapplying, wait until the surface is completely dry after the first application (2-3 hours). Drying time will depend on environmental or climatic conditions.
